Little Big Town have confirmed that their latest single 'Better Man' was written by the one and only Taylor Swift, and everyone's going nuts trying to work-out who it's about. It's certainly a break-up song, but which of the popstar's many exes is it aimed it?

Leading the nominations pack for the 47th annual awards was rising star Kacey Musgraves, who led with six nominations in total. Right behind, with five nominations, was Miranda Lambert, but it was her husband Blake Shelton who finished the night as the biggest winner, taking home two gongs during the ceremony. Officially, it was Taylor Swift who went home with the most awards, although her wins for the Music Event of the Year (shared with Tim Mcgraw and Keith Urban) and the sought-after Pinnacle Award had already being revealed prior to the awards show. Luke Bryan Smashes American Country Awards With Nine Accolades
By Holly Williams in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 11 December 2012
Luke Bryan scooped a whopping nine awards at the American Country Awards on Monday (December 10th 2012) missing out on only two other possible titles.
The artist won nine out of 24 awards which, considering fifteen of those were reserved for females, groups, collaborations and new artists, isn't bad at all as he only lost out on two other possible accolades for 'Touring Artist of the Year' which went to Jason Aldean and Song of the Year which went to Eric Church and his song 'Springsteen' featuring Jeff Hyde and Ryan Tyndell. Luke's awards included Artist of the Year (general and male category), Album of the Year for his Tailgates & Tanlines, Single of the Year (both general and male) for 'I Don't Want This Night To End' - a song which also earned him Music Video of the Year (general and male, again) and Most Played Radio Track (once more, for the general and male categories).
Miranda Lambert was the highest female earner of ACA accolades, winning three for her song 'Over You': Single of the Year (Female), Music Video of the Year (Female) and Most Played Radio Track (Female). Lady Antebellum won the most awards for a group including Artist of the Year (Group) and Single of the Year (Group) for their song 'We Owned The Night'.

Blake Shelton Is The Man Of The Hour At CMA Awards
By Joe Wilde in Music / Festivals on 02 November 2012
Blake Shelton went home after last nights (Nov 1) Country Music Awards with an impressive three trophies to add to his mantle, taking Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist and Song of the Year.
Shelton shared the honour of Best Song with his wife Miranda Lambert for their ballad ‘Over You’, with Lambert breaking down in tears on stage over their success. And as for Shelton’s Best Male Vocalist Award, it marked the third time in a row that the singer has received the coveted award.
As well as Shelton and Lambert, other winners on the night included Country legend Willie Nelson who was presented with a lifetime achievement award at the ceremony held in Nashville, Tennessee. Alabama quartet Little Big Town found double success as they collected the award for Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year for their song ‘Pontoon’. Eric Church took home Album of the Year for the smash hit Chief, whilst Toby Keith beat off competition to win Music Video of the Year for the novelty track, ‘Red Solo Cup’.

Bob Dylan Beaten To Billboard No.1 Spot By The Dave Matthews Band
By Michael West on 19 September 2012
Bob Dylan’s Tempest could only manage No.3 on The Billboard 200 Chart this week, with The Dave Matthews Band claiming the top spot.
Their album, Away from the World moved 266,000 copies, making it their sixth consecutive album in a row to take the top spot, and they are the only group to have done that according to Billboard. Their previous Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King bowed with 424,000 copies in 2009. Clambering the peak of the Billboard charts, and planting your flag in first (for the week, anyway) is a great achievement for any band, but beating the musical legend that is Bob Dylan on your way there makes it even more special, even if the aging star is considered a little old for mountaineering. Ol’ Dylan comes in at No. 3 with 110,000 album sales, but it is his fifth consecutive top-10 studio album, which is a commendable feat in itself.
Elsewhere, Little Big Town's Tornado came in 2nd for the week, with 113,000, giving the country quartet their highest charting album ever. The Avett Brothers also grab their best week ever on the Billboard 200 as The Carpenter sells 98,000, putting them at No. 4. The XX’s previous best entry was No.92, but they blew that into smithereens with a No.5 position this week; their new album Coexist selling 73,000 copies.
