Beyonce Buys Out Philip Green's Stake In Ivy Park Clothing Brand
By Ed Biggs in Fashion / Beauty on 15 November 2018
Parkwood, Beyonce and Jay Z's company, has bought out Green's 50% share in athleisure brand Ivy Park.
Beyonce has moved to cut ties with embattled British businessman Philip Green, who is fighting allegations of workplace harassment and bullying, by buying out his share in her clothing label Ivy Park.
The pop superstar launched the Ivy Park range with Green’s Arcadia Group back in 2016, having announced their intention to collaborate two years before that on new athletic sportswear brand. Now, however, she’s bought back Green’s 50% share of the brand.
Topshop, which Green’s company owns, will therefore stop stocking the range of tops, sports bras and leggings with immediate effect.

Furious Rihanna Sues Topshop Over Use Of Her Image On T-Shirt
By Lauren James in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 31 July 2013
Pop star Rihanna has won a high court battle with UK retailer Topshop after they used her face to sell a T-shirt without her permission.
An irate Rihanna has taken clothing retailer Topshop to court over a T-shirt dispute where her image was used without permission and, despite tougher UK laws on use of an artist's image, a judge has apparently ruled in her favour.
The T-shirt shows the sultry-looking star wearing her hair piled high with a headscarf and a white bra top and was on sale in the Philip Green-owned fashion retailer's stores in 2011. The Daily Mail now reports that the Barbadian singer won the High Court battle with the high street giant.

Kim Kardashian Nude Dress Steals Show At Topshop Opening, Los Angeles
By Michael West in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 14 February 2013
Kim Kardashian's nude dress was a major talking point at the opening of Sir Philip Green's new Topshop and Topman stores in Los Angeles this week. Kardashian, 32, wore a nude black lace dress, feathery skirt, leather leggings and black pumps to celebrate the opening of flagship stores in West Hollywood. She was joined on the red-carpet by boyfriend Kanye West and mother Kris Jenner, while Ryan Seacrest, Derek Hough and Randy Jackson also made appearances.
Though Kardashian's nude dress did a wonderful job of embracing her pregnancy without being too revealing, the reality star had some major competition in the form of Welsh mezzo-soprano and recent Dancing with the Stars contestant Katherine Jenkins. The singer, 32, opted for a fitted strapless dress at the ritzy Cecconi's venue for the after-party, and matched it with gold heels and jewellery.
Sir Phillip Green has been planning the Topshop, Los Angeles stores for a while, and has aligned himself with the right people in Kim Kardashian etc as he brings his British clothing empire across the pond. He was the man behind Kate Moss' hugely successful line for Topshop in the UK and has called on the fashion forward Kate Bosworth to deliver a similar range for the Los Angeles store. The Superman Returns actress was also in attendance at the opening, opting for a gold mini-dress with cross-bar neckline.
