Jesse is already aware of the dangers of making a wrong move in the crime-led neighbourhood of Oxnard, California, but nothing would prepare him for a curious venture into the unknown that would engulf his soul in darkness. During a heavy party session, they see the body of a woman from the apartment downstairs being taken away as ambulances and police swarm the street. In a bid to uncover the mystery behind her death, Jesse and his friends sneak into the apartment where they find pools of blood everywhere, some strange looking video tapes and an altar decked with black magic paraphernalia. Not only that, but among the strange objects are photographs of Jesse, who wakes up the next day with a strange bite mark on his forearm. As time goes on, he starts to feel not quite himself as a supernatural and highly malicious force begins to take hold of him.

'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones' is a spin-off of the ghostly horror film series which began in 2009. It has been directed and written by Christopher Landon ('Burning Palms', 'Disturbia', Another Day in Paradise') who wrote the previous three 'Paranormal Activity' films, and it is set to be released in US movie theatres on January 3rd 2014.
