Fiancé Of Julia Robert's Half-Sister Breaks Silence On Her Sudden Death

Julia Roberts' half-sister Nancy Motes, who was found dead in a Los Angeles home last Sunday (Feb 9th), left behind fiancé John Dilbeck.

Mr. Dilbeck, who discovered Motes in a bathtub full of water, has finally broke his silence on his future wife's recent passing.

"John Dilbeck and his extended family would like to express their heartfelt condolences to all of Nancy Motes' family and friends," reads a statement he sent to Us Weekly.

"We loved her dearly and will miss her always. Please know that the words she wrote in online venues were those of someone in pain who loved her family and longed for a closer bond with them."

"Nancy was a kind and thoughtful person quick to give a hug or share her memorable laugh," the statement continues. "John is heartbroken and requests that he be left in peace to recover from a loss that all should understand."

37 year-old Motes had a troubled relationship with her Oscar-winning half-sister and in a five-page suicide letter, she targeted her and Julia's troubled relationship as the reason for committing suicide.

A source close to the investigation previously said, "It was definitely a suicide. She left a five-page suicide letter. The EMT found it."

Motes killed herself in a property on N. Bundy Drive, around 2 p.m., where she was house-sitting for a client who rented out the Los Angeles home.

The source added, "It looks like a pill overdose."

Prescription and non-prescription drugs were found on the scene but until a toxicology report is published, the cause of her death will remain unknown.

Nancy tweeted cryptic messages a month prior to her death but have since been deleted.

"So my 'sister' said that with all her friends & fans she doesn't need anymore love. Just so you all know 'America's Sweetheart' is a B--H!!'" she posted. Later adding, "Do you want to be a fan of someone so cruel? She's not even that good of an actress. Happy you totally F-ed with me?"
