Vince Neil: 'Motley Crue Are Not Splitting Up'
Motley Crue singer Vince Neil has reassured fans the group is not splitting up after its final tour - the bandmates just won't be playing live anymore.
Neil and his pals staged a press conference in January (14) to announce plans for a final set of international dates, which will begin later this year (14) and end in 2015, but he insists that doesn't mean the quartet will be no more after the last show.
In a recent radio chat on the Todd N Tyler Radio Empire show, the singer said, "The band isn't over. Here's the thing. Motley Crue is a business, and there's different parts of the business - merchandising, there's music and there's touring. We're just ceasing the touring part.
"But there's gonna be still music coming from Motley Crue for different types of things, and still merchandise and stuff like that. We're just saying that we won't tour anymore. That's really kind of it."
Meanwhile, Neil insists that relations between himself and his bandmates have never been better: "We've been together 33 years, and of course, we have our arguments, just like brothers do. You have an argument and you make up the next day... It's a family. (But) we're all having fun right now."
