Deborah Ann Woll Cast As Daredevil's Love Interest, Karen Page, In Upcoming Netflix/Marvel Series
Deborah Ann Woll has been cast as Karen Page, Daredevil's love interest, in an upcoming Netflix and Marvel adaptation of the famous superhero. Woll is best known for playing Jessica on HBO's True Blood and will star opposite Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) in the upcoming drama.

The 29-year-old actress, according to THR, will play Karen Pag, the love interest of Daredevil, the superhero who is a lawyer who fights crime in a tailored suit during the day and superhero cape at night. Cox will play lawyer Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil, the Marvel hero who was blinded as a child by a falling radioactive substance and planned to avenge the death of his father by troublesome New York gangsters.
Woll's character first appeared in 1964 when the first ever Daredevil comic was released. She has held a marginal role in film depictions of the superhero including in 2003 when Ellen Pompeo (Grey's Anatomy) played her opposite Ben Affleck as Daredevil.
Woll and Cox will be joined by Elden Henson (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2) as Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, Murdock's legal partner, and Vincent D'Onofrio (Escape Plan) will play Wilson Fisk AKA the Kingpin. Rosario Dawson (Sin City: A Dame To Kill For) has also been cast in an unknown role.
Daredevil is the first series Netflix will air as part of its pact with Marvel. ABC and Marvel are producing Daredevil the series which will be distributed in 2015 via Netflix. The series will ultimately lead to a miniseries, The Defenders, which will centre on Daredevil and other superheroes such as Power Woman, Power Man, and Iron Fist.
