Emma Stone's Broadway Debut In 'Cabaret' Is A Done Deal

After several reports of being in "negotiations," Emma Stone is officially going to be the next Hollywood star to make her Broadway debut, as she is set to star in 'Cabaret' when Michelle Williams leaves the production on November 9th.

The Roundabout Theatre Company announced on Wednesday (Aug 20th) that Stone will start acting in the famous musical on November 11th, portraying the female lead Sally Bowles, who is an erratic British singer living in Berlin as World War II approaches.

The 'Super Bad' actress was previously attached to the production but due to conflicting schedules she had to drop out. However, this won't be the first time Stone has worked in theatre, although she is well known for her film and television work, as a student she regularly performed at Valley Youth Theatre, a children's company in Phoenix.

Stone, whose run is scheduled to end on February 1st, replacing Williams is expected to be the only change in the cast, Alan Cummings will still play Emcee, and Linda Emond as Fraulein Schneider and Danny Burstein as Herr Schultz will also remain the same. These cast members will also will stick with the production until March 29th 2015.

As for any upcoming movies, fans can next see the 'Amazing Spider Man' actress star alongside Zack Galafianakis, Michael Keaton and Edward Norton in 'Birdman', which hit theatres on October 17th.
