Brought to us by South African director, Ralph Ziman ('Hearts and Minds', 'The Zookeeper'), 'Kite' is based on the Yasuomi Umetsu anime of the same name. The film, released in late August, 2014, was heavily cut down from the original animi, which was accused of containing child pornography.
