Time to say bye-bye, at last.

It’s not that Fulham fans hate Michael Jackson or dislike his music in anyway, but their former chairman’s decision go erect a statue of the late pop icon didn’t exactly enamour the core base supporters. So it has come as good news – for many – that new owner Shahid Khan has decided to remove it.

At the time of it's unveiling, Al Fayed insisted that Jackson was a fan of Fulham (in spite of the fact that he was only ever spotted once in the South London area) and stood by his decision to keep the statue at the back of the Hammersmith stand. When met with further criticism and ridicule from supporters, Al Fayed told them they can "go to hell."
