Zach Braff hopes fans of 'Scrubs' will get to return to Sacred Heart Hospital in the near future.

Running from 2001-2010, 'Scrubs' was one of the most-loved medical shows of all time. Led by the likes of Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke, the series worked its way into the hearts of millions across the globe. It was a true phenomenon, and whilst it looks like we've had our fill of drama from Sacred Heart Hospital, a comeback may be on the cards.

Braff, who took on the role of J.D. in the show, has said that he pitched an idea for a television movie to creator Bill Lawrence, and that it actually went down quite well. Though nothing is officially on the table or in development right now, that doesn't mean it won't happen further down the line.

The Disaster Artist Trailer

Tommu Wiseau is an ever secretive and Louisiana-born filmmaker who directed, wrote and starred in the 2003 romantic drama 'The Room' with Greg Sestero. It's a movie that has become a cult hit among film-lovers for all the wrong reasons, as it's considered to be one of the worst films ever made.

It follows the love triangle between banker named Johnny (Tommy's character), his lying wife Lisa ( protrayed by Juliette Danielle) and his best friend Mark (who is played by Greg Sestero). Amongst the random subplots that seemingly have no relation to the plot itself, we see Johnny struggling to quash Lisa's stories that she is the victim of domestic abuse.

James Franco stars as the filmmaker while his brother Dave Franco plays Greg Sestero in 'The Disaster Artist'; a comedic retelling of Sestero's 2013 memoir and a look at the making of this iconic flick. Amusingly Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero also star in this new movie - though they portray characters Henry and the casting agent respectively. Plus, Sestero previously claimed that Wiseau would only agree to this adaptation if he would be played by either James Franco or Johnny Depp.

The couple attracted the star’s attention with an ingenious banner that said: ‘he’ll only marry me if he meets you!'. Clearly, the one-time Beatles was movied, and he even helped the gentleman with a little backing as he sang the classic, 'When I’m Sixty-Four'. Unsurprisingly, there are some other softie celebs out there who also like nothing more than to be part of a good old fashioned love story.

He dreams of being an actor, but that's not a job you can guarantee stability from and thus he no longer has enough money to send his kids to a private school - even with the full to bursting swear jar. He decides to home tutor them after deciding against public school, and soon discovers that he's not the only one in his life who is having problems. Uncle Phil Remembered By Those He Knew Best: Actor James Avery Dead

'The Fresh Prince of Bell Air' star passed away due to complications with surgery on New Years Eve, aged 68

Actor James Avery, the man who starred as the beloved Uncle Phillip Banks on the 90's sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bell Air, has passed away. A classically trained actor with over 170 screen credits to his name, Avery was more than just the man behind Uncle Phil, as the outpouring of grief that has followed the announcement of his death goes some way towards explaining.

Avery leaves behind a lasting legacy

His role as family patriarch and determined attorney (and later judge) on Fresh Prince won him many fans and admirers, but Avery's talents stretched well beyond that one popular character. His distinguished voiced lent him a career as a successful voice artist, supplying the voice of War Machine in the 90's animated series of Iron Man, a variety of voices for the movie The Prince of Egypt and most notably for his role as Shredder in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. His further acting roles saw him appear on both film and television, with noted appearances in That 70's Show, My Wife and Kids, Dr Dolittle 2, Jake and the Fatman and The Brady Bunch Movie. His final role was in the upcoming Zach Braff film Wish I Was Here, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this year.

Zach Braff's NYC Photobomb Is Pure Internet Gold! [Image]

The 'Scrubs' actor was caught on camera as some newlyweds were having their photo taken in NYC

Zach Braff may have won the award for the finest celebrity photobombing incident of all time, after an image of him cheekily smiling into the camera during a photo shoot for some newlyweds went viral this week. The image was taken in Times Square, New York City, where the newly wedded couple were having their photo taken on one of the crosswalks, only for Braff to walk past at the perfect moment and, if anything, make the wedding photo a million times better.

Braff, pictured with his pug, has caused an internet storm with the image

The goofy actor was noticed by wedding photographer Sascha Reinking, who upon discovering the image took to Twitter to call out the actor. On Thursday (21 Nov.) the photographer tweeted, "I might be mistaken but I think Zach Braff totally photobombed my newlywed couple. :) #zachbraff #scrubs #photobomb," later tweeting to Braff and congratulating him on a job well done. Braff later tweeted that the picture was "one of my best photobombs ever," and he even took to his FaceBook page to describe the photobombing incident as his "finest to date."

Zach Braff Charms His Way To $2m On Kickstarter For New Film – Wish I Was Here

By Jack de Aguilar in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 28 April 2013

Should Braff be using a platform ripe for those worse off?

Kickstarter has provided a novel platform for the average Joe to turn an idea into reality. But it’s not just your average Joes getting in on the act, some big-shots have taken advantage of crowd-funding too. And in light Veronica Mars’ success, Zach Braff thought he’d have a go, with remarkable success.

His $2m goal was surpassed well before the deadline; he sits on $2,106,032 with 26 days remaining (at the time of writing). "Dear Fans, I cannot believe your unbelievable support for WIWH. I wish I could hug each and every one of you," the Scrubs star tweeted. "Now financiers are fine for lots of projects and it works out perfectly for many movies, but when you’re trying to make these smaller personal art films, the idea of giving final cut away to someone else, it doesn’t make any sense for me," Braff also told The Hollywood Reporter. So what’s his new film about? You can check that out in the Kickstarter video above, but beware – it sound cheesy.

Why Can't Zach Braff Stump Up $2 Million Of His Own Cash For 'Wish I Was Here?'

By Michael West in Movies / TV / Theatre on 26 April 2013

Zach Braff has hit back at some critics who suggest he has enough money to fund Wish I Was Here.

Zach Braff looks to have secured the full $2 million to make his Garden State follow-up Wish I Was Here, though the actor and director has spoken on the need for crowd-funding websites like Kickstarter to get movies made in the current climate. Braff is one of the most recognisable television actors in the U.S having spent years as the star of Scrubs, though he is quick to play down his financial successes. Thousands of crowd-funding users had donated their cash to get Braff's new project off the ground, though some commentators on Twitter have accused the actor of cynically leveraging free money whilst having to adhere to his creative demands.

Users on the social aggregating website Reddit wondered why the star of the Scrubs couldn't put up the $2 million himself, though Braff responded "People seem to think I have Oprah Winfrey money. I've done well in my career, but I am not sitting on $22 million. I'm doing this so that one negative audience comment in a test screening won't force me to change the end of my movie." Braff also suggested he isn't asking something for nothing from his fans - the Kickstarter website is based on benefits for those who donate and those funding Wish I Was Here will receive invites to screenings and after-parties. $10,000 donors will receive a speaking role in his film. "Even the most entry-level backer will get access to an online magazine about the making of the film. If David Fincher, who I'm a huge fan of, had a video blog of the making of one of his movies, I would have been the first one there."

The Kickstarter success comes just weeks after a Veronica Mars movie attained $5.7 million on the crowd-funding website. Kristen Bell will star in the film, with production scheduled to begin this summer.
