Beyoncé's father and Destiny's Child manager, Mathew Knowles, has revealed the girls 'did not leave our eyes' when they were around controversial singer R. Kelly. In the wake of new scrutiny about the 1990s star following a recent Lifetime documentary, Knowles has also revealed he passed on a collaboration with the group at the Bump N' Grind singer.
Speaking to metro.co.uk, the 67-year-old said when Destiny's Child first met with Kelly, they were around 15 and 16-years-old.

At the height of Williams' solo career, she could count on her Destiny's Child band mates to back her.
Destiny's Child. Stellar Awards. Guys. It happened. The former R&B trio didn't tease their reunion or reveal they were planning anything at all, they just made it happen on Saturday night. Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams took the stage together at Las Vegas' Orleans Arena to perform Williams' Say Yes. Beyoncé and Rowland previously collaborated on the studio version of Williams' single, an EDM-inspired reimagining of the Nigerian gospel song When Jesus Says Yes.
A grief-stricken Kelly Rowland spread the news of her mother's passing this week, which occurred just four days before Doris was due to celebrate her 67th birthday. It seems the singer will face a Christmas of mixed emotions; not being able to spend it with her mother, but still having the opportunity to introduce her 1 month old son Titan Jewell Weatherspoon to his first festivities.

Various Artists - Pepsi Beats Of The Beautiful Game Album Review

It makes absolute logical sense for any company to want to be affiliated with the biggest events in the world, which the football World Cup unarguably is. But what to do when your biggest rival is a corporate partner of said tournament? In this case, the answer is a compilation record.
The second half begins with a substitution to the likeable quirky pop of 'Crescendo' by Jetta, before Kelly Rowland takes centre stage. Unfortunately, 'The Game' is a tuneless effort that falls well beneath the high standard of the output she has previously been involved with and leaves us needing a hero as we enter the latter stages of play. It would be too much now for the result of the album to be saved, but like a late consolation, it doesn't mean you can't put positives into the outcome. It isn't forthcoming though, with the remainder playing out a drab affair lacking impact and passion. Likening this to the England team's performance seems too obvious, but given the lack of expectation in the first instance, is actually quite appropriate.

Kelly Rowland is pregnant! Unlike other celebrity pregnancies, the news came straight from the source this time, with the singer posting a photo on her Instagram of a baby-sized pair of Air Jordans. Aw, isn’t that the cutest product placement you’ve ever heard of?
It’s been a whirlwind year for Rowland and her longtime beau, Tim Witherspoon, who just tied the knot a month ago. The couple celebrated their love with an intimate ceremony in Costa Rica on May 9.
Kelly also recently released a new single, The Game, as part of Pepsi’s World Cup visual album. The album features Rowland, alongside the likes of Janelle Monae, Rita Ora and Idris Elba, of all people, and includes audio and visual contributions, centered around the theme of, y’know, the Game. Also collaboration and togetherness, etc.

Forget Solange, Jay-Z and Beyonce - Kelly Rowland got married.
Just 24 hours after Solange Knowles bizarre beat down of Jay-Z in the elevator of the Standard Hotel, Beyonce's former band-mate Kelly Rowland married Tim Witherspoon in Costa Rica. The pair were engaged in November and tied the knot in a "quick, simple" ceremony, according to BET.
Beyonce, Jay-Z and Solange Knowles were all present for the ceremony, with the famous sisters seemingly putting their differences to one side to celebrate Rowland's nuptials. Beyonce even posted an Instagram photograph of herself in a floral dress with the caption "Good Morning"
