Video - Lake Bell And Ashley Greene Deny Paparazzi Decent Shots At Marchesa Show During NY Fashion Week - Part 1
Several well-dressed familiar females hit the seats at the Marchesa Spring/Summer 2014 show which took place during the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. Among them were 'What Happens In Vegas' actress Lake Bell and 'Twilight' star Ashley Greene, the latter of which was rather impatient while posing for photographers on leaving the show, but happily let a nearby fan get a quick snap on her phone.
CBGB Trailer
In 1973, New York nightclub CBGB opened as a venue for Country, BlueGrass and Blues acts led by music entrepreneur Hilly Kristal. However, it soon became clear that that wasn't the way the music scene was going in the city and he soon began to book new rock and punk bands - excluding all cover and tribute bands - to play regular shows there which helped raise the profile of several musical pioneers including Talking Heads, Blondie, The Ramones and the Patti Smith Group. It wasn't the easiest ride for Kristal, however, who suffered many money troubles due to his vision and ambition for the bands that he showcased, as well as much scrutiny over the general poor health and safety of the venue. Nonetheless (and despite its closure in 2006), it will always been known as the kick off point for so many 70s and 80s bands.
Randall Miller ('Nobel Son', 'Bottle Shock', 'Houseguest') directs this music drama alongside his frequent writing partner Jody Savin as it follows the highs and lows of Hilly Kristal's life and ambition to give innovative local bands a chance at success. The movie will premiere at the CBGB Festival over its October 10th-13th weekend; not far off the anniversary of its 2006 official closure.

The Reason Behind The Fire At Ashley Greene's Condo Was An Unattended Candle
By Victoria Pavlova in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 24 March 2013
The reason behind the fire at Ashley Greene's has been identified, but there is still a lot of work to be done before anyone can move back in.
The reason behind the blaze, which devastated Ashley Greene’s apartment on Friday, has now been found.
According to a TMZ report, the preliminary investigation has determined that the fire started from an unattended candle in Greene’s condo, with Ashley herself, her boyfriend and her brother asleep in the apartment at the time. The firefighters managed to take care of the blaze, but not before it caused considerable damage. Additionally, according to Celebuzz.com, when the Greene household had evacuated the building, they remembered that Ashley’s dogs had been left inside, but by that time it was too late. One of the dogs was saved, but the other perished in the fire.
“She is absolutely distraught,” a neighbor explained. ”She is a really sweet person and a total animal lover, so this is very sad.” The friendly neighbor also added: “Ashley is well liked here and her apartment has been totally destroyed but the fire did not spread throughout the building,” the fellow resident added. “Fortunately, nobody was injured.”

Ashley Green’s Dog Dies In Dramatic Fire
By Jack de Aguilar in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 23 March 2013
Ashley Greene loses one dog in fire
The apartment of Ashley Green was ablaze yesterday, taking the lives of one of her two dogs. Her, her boyfriend and brother were all able to escape, though, after the blaze started on the sofa. The 26-year-old Twilight actress was seen sobbing, cradling the unfortunate dog that didn’t make it out of the dramatic fire.
"We were dispatched at 9:50 a.m. PST to reports of a highrise fire," Inspector Quvondo Johnson of the Los Angeles County Fire Department told the New York Daily News. "We did see smoke and fire from the third floor when we arrived. Based on the occupany load of the building, we quickly raised it to a two alarm fire." Several residents tried to tackle the blaze with fire extinguishers before at least 10 fire trucks hurtled to the building, which was once lived in by Marilyn Monroe. The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished just after 10am following a 9.50am emergency call. An eyewitness explained to The Daily Mail, “It was completely burnt out, [Greene's] whole apartment was burnt to a crisp. All the windows were blown out with smoke billowing out of them. All of the building had been evacuated and all of the residence were outside. Some looked scared, some were angry.”

By Contributor in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 07 February 2013
Fresh from her recent court appearances, it was a disheveled looking Lindsay Lohan that took to the amFAR Awards red carpet in New York last night (February 6, 2013). The star has been in court again after allegations that she broke the terms of her probation by getting into another car-relates scrape. Various reports have been knocking around that she's struggling with the ongoing troubles in her life - albeit many of them self-inflicted - and she looked less than 100% last night.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Review
By Rich Cline
Very Good
With a flurry of bonkers action and cross-species bonding, The Twilight Saga surges to a howling conclusion that has more attitude in it than all four previous films put together. There's no time for moping now, as things build to a crescendo of girly emotion, portentous pronouncements and more decapitations than you can count. Even the plot itself gets rather playful.
We pick things up immediately after Part 1 ended: Bella (Kristen) is getting used to her heightened vampire senses and intense lovemaking prowess with her new husband Edward (Pattinson), while their daughter Renesmee (Foy) ages alarmingly from infancy to about 10 in just a few weeks, overseen by soulmate-protector wolf-boy Jacob (Lautner). But the ruling Volturi boss (Sheen) has been misinformed that Renesmee is a feared immortal child, rather than a rare but apparently harmless human-vampire hybrid. As the Volturi army heads to Seattle to obliterate Edward and the Cullen clan (including Facinelli, Reaser, Greene and Lutz), the Cullens draft in an army of their own from around the world.
Essentially the film is a long build-up to a big showdown, as everyone jostles for position. This makes the film feel much pacier than the earlier chapters, as we jump from scene to scene while the Cullens prepare for the onslaught. Many scenes involve the introduction of the vampires who support their effort, and like X-men many have some sort of supernatural ability that can aid the fight. Thankfully, director Condon refuses to take this nonsense seriously, and has quite a lot of fun with the various story elements. He also gleefully ramps up the tetchy interaction between Jacob and Edward, and even makes a joke about the fact that actors playing vampires must wear red contact lenses.

Fashion Face Off: Twilight's Kristen Stewart Versus Ashley Greene
By Michael West in Movies / TV / Theatre on 14 November 2012
Kristen Stewart stole all the headlines after the Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles this week, wearing a lacy floor length Zuhaur Murad gown that left little to the imagination. The designer is favoured by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, so it was a little odd to see the more casual Stewart in the blingy dress.
The actress has actually donned sheer dresses before, most recently at the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere where she was spotted getting a little too close to director Rupert Sanders. It emerged that the pair had been having an affair, leading to the end of her relationship with Robert Pattinson.

There was only one story at the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 premiere last night: the public reunion of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson
The stars of The Twilight Saga walked down the red carpet for a premiere of the franchise for the last ever time last night (November 12) and there was no surprise which two of the cast were taking center stage, with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson making a public reunion after promotional trails that have seen them take on different territories. The pair looked happy to be in each other's company, memories of their acrimonious summer seemingly all but forgotten as they lit up the red carpet in Los Angeles.
