Does Sarah Jessica Parker’s Latest Instagram Post Really Confirm 'Sex And The City 3' Is On The Way? Let's Investigate...
Could Carrie Bradshaw soon be back on the big screen? Well maybe, as Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest Instagram post has fuelled rumours that a third 'Sex and the City' movie has begun shooting. But before we get too excited there’s some detective work to be done, as realistically Parker’s post is more likely to be about her SJP shoe collection rather than stepping into Carrie’s Manolos for a third time.
Rumours regarding Sex And The City 3 started when the actress posted a picture of herself leaving Bloomingdales on New York’s Fifth Avenue carrying a ‘medium brown bag’ with the caption, ‘Well. I guess the cat's out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I’m under strict gag order until then.’
Well we all know that shopping and New York are two of Carrie Bradshaw’s favourite things, so it was no surprise when the post soon got ‘SATC’ fans very exited believing the actress was filming scenes for a new film.

But sadly it seems the post was most likely nothing to do with a third ‘SATC’ movie, something which has never even been confirmed as in development by studio Warner Brothers. In a statement to E! News on Monday the studio quashed fan's dreams by saying, "The post is not in relation to the 'Sex and the City' property."
So what secret was SJP actually alluding to? Well all the evidence suggests that Parker was probably taking about some exciting news regarding her shoe line, SJP Collection. The actress tagged the official Instagram for her SJP collection in the post and she has also been pictured posing on top of the Bloomingdales sign on 59th Street.

Parker’s shoe line is already sold in Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Zappos Couture stores, but the next step could be Bloomingdales, something which we’re sure would impress one Carrie Bradshaw.
As for a third ‘Sex and the City’ movie? Well lets never say never, as last year producer Michael Patrick King told E! News "As far as 'Sex and the City' goes, the mere fact that it is still so alive, and not just on the gym TV's, not just on the Precor, but that people are still wondering about these girls, you never know. It could come back at some point. All bets are off."
