Finding Fatimah Trailer

Shahid Akhtar is a young Muslim living in Manchester who is desperate to find love. Thus, he signs up for a dating site called Single Muslim and winds up conducting a series of interviews to find the perfect girl. Sometimes not even with the girls themselves, for in some Muslim families it is customary that the brother (or even father) meet the potential partner first. Unfortunately for him, finding love is going to be even harder than it is for most young Muslims because he's previously been married. That means very few people are lining up to have him as a husband, son-in-law or brother-in-law. It's not like he wants to be with a girl who is too narrow-minded to look past this phase of his life either.

However, Shahid comes across a local girl named Fatima Miah who appears to tick every box; she's beautiful, intelligent, funny and extremely open-minded. She falls for him for the same reasons, but praises his honesty above everything else. Except that Shahid can't find it within himself to tell her about his ex-wife.

'Finding Fatimah' is romantic comedy directed and written by Oz Arshad in his filmmaking debut. It will be released in the UK on April 21st 2017.

The Lobster Trailer

David is a single man having just left a 12 year relationship. As per the rules of living in The City, set in a dystopian future, he is forced to check into The Hotel. The sprawling facility is a place where all singletons must find love within 45 days, or else be turned into a creature of their choice and banished into The Woods, as being alone is highly frowned upon. David's only companion is his loyal dog, who happens to be his unlucky-in-love brother who ran out of time when he was a resident at The Hotel. David's chosen animal is a lobster, but he has no intention of living life as a crustacean and makes his escape into The Woods to join up with The Loners. Soon he meets a short-sighted woman who happens to be extremely adept at catching rabbits. As chance would have it, David finds himself falling for her, but this kind of romance is against the law in The City.

The Beat Beneath My Feet Trailer

Tom dreams of success as an international rockstar, but in reality, he's far from becoming that. He's a bespectacled teenager who lives with his single mum, is regularly teased and thus gets into fights. Soon though, he has a stroke of luck when he meets his rowdy new neighbour Steve, who turns out to be the frontman of a band Tom idolises, but who has - according to reports - apparently been dead for eight years (conveniently following a tax dispute). Desperate to become the musician he wants to be, Tom offers him an ultimatum; Steve much teach Tom everything he knows, or risk being outed as alive and having his peaceful life disrupted. Tom wants to enter a Battle of the Bands contest, but his competition is sceptical that he'll ever make it. Can Tom truly surprise everybody? Or is he chasing a fruitless dream?
