Magistrates - When We Are Apart
Essex four-piece Magistrates have returned to music in recent years and unveil their second single since their hiatus 'When We Are Apart'.
The amusing video directed by V/H/Yes appears to be made out of a series of low quality 80s dating videos, with Magistrates mimicking the footage style in their own way throughout. It makes for a hugely comical effect when clips are used in sync with the lyrics. The song itself is highly 80s influenced as well, with a classic dance beat, high-pitched synths and an amazingly catchy chorus that's sure to put a smile on anyone's face.
The song follows their previous comeback single 'B.T.P.A (Burn The Pain Away)' and was produced by Ben Esser (a musician under the name of simply Esser). The band performed their comeback show at The Monarch in Camden, London on December 5th 2013.
