The magazine published what it said would be its final naked pictorial last year.
Playboy magazine has announced it’s bringing back naked models, one year after declaring the era of nude pictorials had come to an end.
The magazine’s chief creative officer Cooper Hefner, has admitted the decision to stop using naked models was ‘a mistake’ and says the brand is now ‘taking our identity back’.

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is alive and well, despite reports to the contrary.
The 90-year-old took to twitter on Friday to dispel rumours concerning his health, after his death was falsely reported to several news sites.

'Queen Of Snapchat' Katie May Dies Aged 34

The former Playboy model suffered a stroke, her brother has confirmed.
Katie May, a former Playboy model who was dubbed the ‘Queen of Snapchat’ has died aged 34, her brother Stephen has confirmed. The model, who had 1.9 million followers on Instagram, suffered a ‘catastrophic stroke’ on Monday and had previously been seeking treatment for neck pain.

Playboy Will Stop Publishing Nude Photos As Of 2016

After 63 years, Playboy will end its practice of featuring explicit nude photographs in 2016.
Playboy will no longer be publishing nude photos of women. As of next year, as part of the magazine’s redesign, no explicit nude photographs will appear within its pages. Feminists across the World may be celebrating the shift away from such images – the battle still wages with The Sun over its Page Three – but Playboy’s decision does not appear to have been made with quashing sexism in mind.

Holly Madison, the former girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is lifting the lid on her life inside the famous mansion in her tell all memoir Down The Rabbit Hole. In the book the now 35 year old reveals she once contemplated suicide as her life as one of Hefner’s girlfriends became unbearable.
"Life inside the notorious Mansion wasn’t a dream at all—and quickly became her nightmare," US Weekly reports the book’s promotional material as stating. "After losing her identity, her sense of self-worth, and her hope for the future, Holly found herself sitting alone in a bathtub contemplating suicide.”

Raquel Pomplun has been named this year's Playmate of the Year, winning $100,000 and a Jaguar lease.
Raquel Pomplun, a biochemistry major and classically trained ballerina, is Playboy's Playmate of the Year for 2013. Hugh Hefner's pick for the iconic honor shot a pretty steamy photo-shoot for the new issue, though insists she was under the weather. "Honestly, I'm thinking I'm so grateful that they look OK because I had a fever in these pictures," the 25-year-old model said.
"I can't begin to describe how excited I am to receive this honor and be given the opportunity to represent Playboy as its first Mexican-American Playmate of the Year," Pomplun said in a statement. "Playboy has taught me a side of myself I didn't know before. It's been a year of wonderful surprises!" The model first appeared in the iconic magazine as the April 2012 cover girl, posing alongside R&B star Bruno Mars for the Sex and Music issue.
