Dixie Chicks pairing up with Beyonce was one of the talking points of the Country Music Awards this week.
Dixie Chicks have hit out at the online backlash that followed their memorable performance with Beyonce at the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night.
CMA World is said to have posted an article concerning the headline-stealing duet, before quickly taking it down from its site because it reportedly generated a lot of hateful and/or racist responses.

Dixie Chicks Display Defaced Poster Of Donald Trump During Gig

During their gig in Cincinnati last week, the country music trio displayed a poster of Trump adorned with devil horns during 'Goodbye Earl'.
After the torrid time they endured for getting involved with politics a decade ago, it seems that the Dixie Chicks are still unafraid of courting controversy, this time by sticking it to Donald Trump by displaying an image of a defaced poster during a concert.
During their gig in Cincinnati on Wednesday night (June 6th), the opening night of their first North American tour in nearly ten years, the country-pop trio projected a poster of the controversial Trump, who is all but set to be named as the Republican Party’s presidential candidate, with his face adorned with devil horns, goatee and moustache.

Dixie Chicks Announce American Tour In 2016, First In 10 Years

The country trio have not performed a headline tour of the States since 2006, when they were recovering from the fall-out from band member Natalie Maines' comments about former President George W. Bush.
Country act The Dixie Chicks have announced a new headline tour of North America, their first to cover their home country, in nearly a decade, in 2016.
The multi-platinum selling American trio, who have recorded seven studio albums, have not released any new music since 2006’s record Taking the Long Way, and haven’t undertaken any tours since the massive worldwide Accusations & Accidents tour in support of the same album.
The group, consisting of Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire, made the big announcement via the group’s official Facebook page on Monday (November 16th), later adding all the details of the large tour on their website.
