Jaden Smith (born 08.07.1998) Jaden Smith is a rapper and actor and the son of Will Smith.
Childhood: Jaden Smith was born in Malibu, California. His parents are rapper turned actor Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith. His brother Trey Smith and daughter Willow Smith are also actors. He and his siblings are ambassadors for Project Zambia which centres around African children who have been orphaned through AIDS.
Acting career: Jaden Smith made his film debut in 2006's 'The Pursuit of Happyness' as his father's onscreen son. He subsequently won an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. With Abigail Breslin, he presented two awards at the 79th Academy Awards. In 2008, he appeared in the remake of sci-fi movie 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' alongside Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. In 2010, he starred in 'The Karate Kid' remake opposite Jackie Chan.
Musical career: Jaden Smith featured on Justin Bieber's song 'Never Say Never' released in 2011. He has since appeared on three more of his tracks. He released his first mixtape 'The Cool Café' in 2012.

19-year-old Jaden epitomises rap in the video for 'Icon', in which he can be seen in a denim jacket, gold chains and a golden grille stepping out of a supercar and strutting some Michael Jackson-style moves against a hilly, sunset backdrop.

Jada Pinkett Smith has praised her family for being musically diverse, as each of them - including husband Will Smith and children Jaden and Willow - create something different.

The 46-year-old actress launched her music career in 2002 when she created metal band Wicked Wisdom, for which she is the lead singer.
And after marrying actor Will Smith - who has a career as a rapper and has recorded hits such as 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' and 'Boom! Shake The Room' - as well as having musically talented children Jaden, who recently released his debut album 'Syre', and Willow, who found success aged 10 with hit single 'Whip My Hair', Jada couldn't be more proud of her creative family.

Jaden Smith has teased fans with a preview of a song he has made with his new rock band with sister Willow Smith and girlfriend Odessa Adlon.
Jaden Smith has formed a rock band.
The 18-year-old rapper - who featured on Justin Bieber's 2010 hit 'Never Say Never' - posted a preview of a new song before announcing that his sister Willow Smith, 16, and his girlfriend Odessa Adlon, 18, will also be a part of the group.
The star posted the 45-second clip with the caption: ''This Is A Clip From A Rock Band I'm Starting (sic)''

Amandla wore a a metallic lamé gown, while Will Smith's 16-year-old son, ever the eclectic dresser, wore what appears to be a black-and-white dress, topped with a black blazer.
