Becky Hill - Last Time Music Video

  • 26 March 2021

Becky Hill opens her 2021 solo account with a fresh new single and lively video for the song, 'Last Time'. Hill hooked up with Bruno Martini and Magnificence on her January single 'Wake Up With You' and has also released a remixed version of her 2020 single 'Space', via Shane Codd, so far this year but this is her first single of the new year without a collaborator.

Hill, who is set to release her debut full length album any time soon has previously collaborated with numerous artists since she came to fame through The Voice UK. She remains the only artist to appear on the show who has subsequently scored a UK number one single. Her vocalised performance of Oliver Helden's 'Gecko', renamed 'Gecko (Overdrive)' was a joint single release with the 'Never Forget You Singer', MNEK. To date it has been by far Hill's biggest single, however following her new record contract with Polydor and the anticipation around her forthcoming album that may be about to change.

Becky's latest single has a laid back and soulful dance vibe running through it, perfectly framing her rangy vocal. On a ladies night out all she's thinking about is her turbulent relationship, vowing, "This is the last time, Now you’re mine, the last time falling in love, After the last fight, I realised I’m not giving you up."

The up-beat House track has elements of both Wilkinson, a previous artist she successfully teamed up with on 'Afterglow', as well as Rudimental. The artist who recently tweeted "i’ll be at the grammys one day" may not make it with this song, but she's certainly going in the right direction.
