Nick Cave, Warren Ellis - We Are Not Alone (La Panthère Des Neiges) Music Video

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis combine their considerable talents once more to provide a spectacular soundtrack accompaniment to the forthcoming film - 'Les Panthère Des Neiges'. Cave and Ellis have a reputation for arresting cinematic scores and their latest composition, following on from this year's phenomenal album 'Carnage', is no exception.

Nick and Warren's debut soundtrack came in 2005 when they teamed up to provide the haunting score for the Guy Pearce/Ray Winstone Australian Western film 'The Proposition', the screenplay of which was also co-written by Cave. Since then the incredibly talented duo have provided film music for 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford', 'The Road', 'West Of Memphis', 'Loin Des Hommes', 'Hell Or High Water', 'War Machine', 'Wind River', 'Gauguin' and 'Kings'. All this whilst both doing individual work and continuing to release numerous Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Grinderman albums over the last 16 years! Incredible.

'We Are Not Alone' is the first track to be released by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis from the forthcoming score to 'Les Panthère Des Neiges' (aka 'The Velvet Queen'), a documentary about the Snow Leopard. The track itself is an edited version of one that will be found on the new soundtrack album when it is released digitally on 17th December.

The film which Cave and Ellis have scored is one that is largely filmed "high up on the Tibetan plateau" in "one of the last sanctuaries of the wild world" by renowned wildlife photographer Vincent Munier. Munier brings along French author Sylvain Tesson ('The Consolations of the Forest') with him on his journey and "introduces him to the subtle art of waiting" whilst "finding the patience to catch sight of the beasts".
