Hollywood's most hilariously funny eligible bachelorette has been snapped up. Amy Schumer proves she isn't as much of a 'Trainwreck' as her movie character, because she's embarked on a serious relationship with a very handsome non-celebrity named Ben Hanisch.

Amy SchumerSorry boys, Amy Schumer is officially taken!

We couldn't be happier for this sensational comedienne. Not only has she just had the most successful year of her life with the continued success of her sketch show 'Inside Amy Schumer', winning multiple awards from a Primetime Emmy to a Peabody, gaining huge critical acclaim for her first filmmaking venture 'Trainwreck' alongside a Golden Globe nomination and even getting to appear in the 2016 Pirelli Calendar, but she has also finally found romance.

It's not clear how long this relationship has been going on, but she posted some pictures of her brother, sister and Ben on Twitter captioning it 'Fam and man at the whitehizzy' during her visit to the White House press conference in support of President Barack Obama's gun violence speech.

Naturally, the post blew up and Schumer later joked with a second post featuring a picture of the President himself. 'Well the word is out. It's official. Here's my new boyfriend', she labelled the image.

Ben Hanisch is the 29-year-old owner of a furniture design company called The Last Workshop in Chicago. He's just as thrilled as Schumer to have such a gorgeous and talented other half. 'Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here's to what adventures 2016 brings!' He wrote on Instagram, with a photo of the pair looking snug and happy. As usual, Schumer brought some comic relief to the soppy moment with a comment reading: 'I'm pregnant. I didn't know how else to tell you.'

And, if you needed further proof that their relationship is absolutely official, Hanisch's Twitter update is anything but ambiguous. 'I am totally dating Amy Schumer. We smash all day', he wrote to his followers.
