Andy Garcia, the Cuban-American actor best known for his roles in The Godfather Part III and The Untouchables, speaking about his upbringing in Cuba. The actor and his family left the country for Miami when he was five-years-old following the Bay of Pigs Invasion - a failed operation to overthrow the government of Fidel Castro.Speaking about his memories of the experience, Garcia said, "I wasn't aware that we were learning because of this change.Marxism was enveloping the country.I didn't know there was a betrayal of the revolution.but I was marching around singing the Internationale.so even before school I was getting the wave of indoctrination"
