Acting veteran Angela Lansbury has urged Lady GaGa to consider making a Broadway bow in beloved musical Mame - because she thinks the pop phenomenon would be the perfect leading lady.
The Murder, She Wrote star, who has enjoyed a string of hits on the New York stage, is a big fan of the Poker Face hitmaker and she wants Gaga to play the role she originated in the mid-1960s - and won a Tony Award for.
Lansbury says, "She could sure wear the clothes, that's for sure."
