She may have only just released a preview photo of her latest project By the Sea, featuring husband Brad Pitt, but Angelina Jolie is already looking to the future, and has signed on to direct and produce a film about poaching in Africa. EW reports that the film will tell the story of  paleo-archaeologist Richard Leakey, who made it his mission to protect elephants throughout the 1980's and 90's whilst working as the head of Kenya’s Wildlife Conservation and Management Department. This will be Jolie's forth film as director, following 2011's In the Land of Blood and Honey, Unbroken (due for release later this year) and By the Sea, which has a 2015 release date.

It will be the second biopic project Jolie has undertake, as Unbroken, her upcoming film due for release on December 25th 2014, focuses on the story of Olympic athelete Louis "Louie" Zamperini who survived a plane crash, drifting at sea on a raft for forty-seven days before he spent two and a half years in various Japanese prisoner of war camps. The film stars a host of young British acting talent including Jack O'Connell, Domhnall Gleeson, and Luke Treadaway.

Meanwhile, her next project, By the Sea, features Jolie herself starring alongside husband Brad Pitt as a married couple who take a holiday to a seaside resort to try and save their marriage. Filming has been taking place in Malta.
