Anna Faris (born 29.11.1976)
Anna Faris is an American actress and singer, best known for her comic roles.

Childhood: Anna Faris was born in Baltimore in Maryland, to Karen and Jack Faris. Her mother is an elementary school teacher and her father is a sociologist. Anna also has a brother, Robert and they were raised in Edmonds, Washington. Encouraged by her parents, Faris landed her first acting job at the age of nine, at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. She attended Edmonds Woodway High School, then studied English Literature at the University of Washington.

Acting Career: Anna Faris debut major film role was in Lovers Lane, an independent film released in 1999. Her breakthrough role, however, came with her role in Scary Movie, a parody of Scream. The film also starred Carmen Electra and Regina Hall. Faris died her hair black for the role in Scary Movie (and the sequel), so that she resembled Neve Campbell more closely. Following on from her newfound popularity, Anna Faris landed the role of Erica in Friends, Erica was the birth mother of Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courtney Cox Arquette) Bing's child. Faris then went on to appear in Lost in Translation. The film was a critically acclaimed release, starring Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray. Anna Faris then appeared Waiting. which also starred Ryan Reynolds and Justin Long. Faris was reunited on screen with Ryan Reynolds, in Just Friends. In 2005, Faris landed a role in the critically lauded Brokeback Mountain, a film which brought her to the attention of a much wider audience. Brokeback Mountain also starred the late Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams and Jake Gyllenhaal. The following year, Faris starred in My Super Ex-Girlfriend, with Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson, followed by an appearance in 2008's Young Americans, in which she played Topher Grace's twin sister. That same year, she also featured in Mama's Boy, which starred Jeff Daniels, Jon Heder and Diane Keaton and Smiley Face, with John Cho and Adam Brody. In 2007, Anna Faris starred in and produced The House Bunny. The film, about a retired Playboy bunny, featured Rumer Willis (daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore) and Hugh Hefner. That summer, she also appeared in the popular HBO series, Entourage. In 2009, Faris worked with Seth Rogen on Observe and Report, a comedy by Jody Hill.

Personal Life: Anna Faris married the actor Ben Indra, in 2004. They had dated since 1999. In 2007, Faris filed for divorce. She then married another actor, Chris Pratt, in 2009.

Chris Pratt And Anna Faris Must 'Live Within Five Miles' Of Each Other After Divorce

It's for the sake of their six year old son, Jack.

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are agreeing the final details of their divorce, and apparently have agreed to live within five miles of each other in the future, for the sake of their young son Jack.

The pair are currently working out the fine points of their divorce, which they announced over a year ago, and new documents obtained by TMZ suggest that they’re agreeing to live close by each other until Jack has reached sixth grade (11 or 12 years old). As Jack is currently six, that’s at least half a decade.

The documents also indicate that three months’ notice in writing must be given “if for any reason one of them needed to move further apart”, and that they also have to give 30 days’ notice if either of them wants to take Jack out of the country.

Anna Faris Deletes Instagram Account After Facing Body-Shaming

Faris posted a snap on Tuesday night that was criticised for her looking too thin.

Anna Faris has become the latest female celeb to walk away from Instagram, deleting her account on the social media site after being slammed by body-shaming trolls for being too thin.

The 41 year old star of ‘Mom’ had posted an image on the site before appearing on ‘The Talk’ on Tuesday night (October 2nd), which featured Faris gripping a trashcan while wearing a long black shirt, knee-high boots and nude bike shorts, captured by her podcast assistant Michael Sherman.

“Having pre-show jitters - so glad Michael Sherman captured it - also I eventually decided to put on pants,” she had written as a caption.

Faris has been spotted with rumoured new flame, Michael Barrett, on a number of occasions in the last month.

After they announced their sudden split just over two months ago, Hollywood A-lister Chris Pratt is reportedly “heartbroken” at the recent reports of romance between his ex-wife Anna Faris and cinematographer Michael Barrett that have been in the news.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that Faris, 40, and her Overboard re-boot cinematographer Barrett, 47, were spotted enjoying each other’s company at a Malibu restaurant.

Given that he and Faris, one of the most popular celeb couples going, had announced their split back in early August this year, despite sharing a 5 year old son named Jack, Pratt is having a hard time adjusting to the situation and is upset that Faris seems to have moved on so quickly.

TV host Patti Stanger had said that Pratt had not moved out, claiming that this was because they were trying to save their eight-year marriage.

Unfortunately, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are not still living together in order to try to save their marriage, despite comments from ‘Million Dollar Matchmaker’ host Patti Stanger this week.

Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Pratt, 38, announced earlier this week on Monday (August 7th) that he and his wife of eight years, actress Anna Faris, were ending their marriage. The news shocked fans and people close to the couple, as their relationship had always been regarded as one of the most solid in Hollywood.

However, TV host Patti Stanger raised hopes for heartbroken fans on Thursday night when she sat down for a Facebook Live interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying that Pratt hadn’t moved out of the family home because they were having a last-ditch attempt to save the marriage.

American actors Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have announced they are to separate after sharing eight years of marriage together. Alluding to having struggled for some time, the two took to social media to announce the news to their fans, but asked for privacy whilst they go through the process. They also mentioned the son they share, Jack, in the statement.

The couple seemed happy at the European Gala Screening of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'

The social media announcement posted to Pratt's Facebook page read: "Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."

The Emoji Movie Review

Weak

There's no reason why this animated comedy adventure needed to be this pointless. Solidly entertaining movies have been made using far less as source material (see The Lego Movie). But while there are some hilarious verbal and visual gags peppered throughout this movie, it all hinges on a script that's painfully obvious and animation that simply isn't inventive enough to hold the attention without a decent story and stronger characters.

It's set in Textopolis, an app inside the smartphone of the teen Alex (Jake T. Austin). The central character is Gene (T.J. Miller), who has far too many expressions for a meh emoji. His parents (Jennifer Coolidge and Steven Wright) worry that he has some sort of defect. Threatened by the cruel senior emoji Smiler (Maya Rudolph), Gene and his pal Hi-5 (James Cordon) sneak out of the app in search of the hacker Jailbreak (Anna Faris), who can help reprogramme him if they can make it to the cloud. But Smiler sends a team of killer bots in hot pursuit.

Yes, the plot is cursory at best, and essentially exists only so the film can namecheck carefully placed apps in a series of sponsored, rather pointless extended set pieces. This leaves the movie feeling like a low-rent variation on Wreck-It Ralph, although only a few of these sequences have any visual interest. The Candy Crush world is at least a colourful alternative to the dull digital look of most of most of the movie. And the lack of imagination shows in the depiction of music streaming as a stream and a firewall as a wall of fire. There's also a strange rush to violence in almost every sequence, as the bots continually try to delete our heroes.

We use Emojis in text messages and social media everyday, but have you ever thought about what these images get up to when you put away your iPhone? When a high school boy goes to send his crush a 'Meh' emoji, it turns into something quite different. To the disappointment of his parents, Gene has never been quite as apathetic as he's expected to be, so when he messes up his moment it causes quite the problem for everyone else. Now the boy thinks his phone is broken, and he's on the way to get it re-set. That's not looking good for the emojis who find themselves desperately trying to back-up their world in the Cloud before their whole world gets wiped out. Meanwhile, Gene is about to learn that having more than one expression may not be such a bad thing after all.
