The American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was snapped leaving her New York hotel to attend the annual Costume Institute Gala (or Met Ball) where the theme for this year's event was 'Charles James: Beyond Fashion'.
She was joined by her daughter Bee Shaffer who looked particularly glamorous in a light turquoise satin gown with a huge train, her son Charles Shaffer, the former American Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley and the current American Vogue editor-at-large Hamish Bowles who looked particularly busy ferrying outfits and hatboxes around.
