Fact: Leading U.S. journalists such as Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer gathered on Thursday (23Jul09) to pay their final respects to late newsman WALTER CRONKITE, who died last week (17Jul09) at the age of 92. Actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara were also in attendance at the service, held at St Bartholomew's Church in New York City.

Fact: When old-timers Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara unveil the 2,328th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (09FEB07), they'll become only the fourth married couple to land a joint honour on the Tinseltown landmark. The other joint stars belong to OZZIE + HARRIET NELSON, FIBBER + MOLLY MCGEE and SONNY + Cher.
