The Boyfriend Of Annie Lennox's Daughter Had Taken Drugs Hours Before He Drowned While Kayaking In New York In August (15).
Model/artist Tali Lennox and her photographer partner Ian Jones were paddling along the Hudson River when their boat capsized.
Tali was rescued hours after the incident, but Jones' body was discovered two days later near a yacht club near where they had attended a party.
A police report obtained by Britain's The Sun newspaper now reveals Jones had traces of MDMA and alcohol in his system when his body was recovered.
The couple had been partying throughout the night and had not slept when they went kayaking. Tali was "noticeably impaired by alcohol" when she was rescued, according to the report.
The autopsy showed Jones, 32, had taken an "average" dose of MDMA. His death was ruled an accident.
