Aaron Dilks passed away on Sunday (07Jun15) and his loss has sent a shockwave through the music industry. No further details about his death had been released as WENN went to press.

He worked with Anthrax and the band posted a touching tribute on their Facebook.com page.

It reads, "The entire Anthrax camp is just devastated by the sudden loss of our tour manager and soundman Aaron Dilks... He was a wonderful man, we all cared greatly about him, and he made the band sound like a monster. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with his family."

Dilks also worked on a number of tours with fellow rockers Fear Factory, who say in a statement, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our good friend and comrade in arms, Aaron Dilks. He was our soundman and tour manager... He was a superb human being, and enjoyed every minute of his life, and we enjoyed experiencing the ride with him. He will be sorely missed. Farewell Aaron Dilks."

Former Journey singer Jeff Scott Soto adds, "So sad to receive news one of the coolest dudes on the planet, Aaron Dilks... A great tour manager, soundman and friend I had to pleasure of working with... RIP in peace brother, you will be missed by many!"
