Arcade Fire rock out in semi-darkness for the video for their new single 'Creature Comfort' - which also features the lyrics on screen and has been directed by Tarik Miko. The single was officially released on June 16th 2017 through Columbia Records and they played it for the first time at Primavera Sound in Barcelone this year.
'Creature Comfort' was produced by the band alongside Geoff Barrow of Portishead and Steve Mackey who is the bassist of Pulp, and it is the second single from Arcade Fire's forthcoming fifth studio album 'Everything Now', after the title single itself.
The album also included production from Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk and their frequent collaborator Markus Dravs, and it was recorded in New Orleans, Montreal as well as Paris. It follows 2013's album 'Reflektor', which peaked at number one in the UK, US and Canada.
The Montreal rockers; who are Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, William Butler, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara; are having quite the busy year with their Infinite Content tour. They'll be performing all over the world in countries like Belgium, Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, the UK, the US, Canada and Argentina for various shows including Roskilde Festival, Milano Summer Festival, Festival BUE and Paléo Festival.
New album 'Everything Now' is set to be released on July 28th 2017.
