The 22-year-old singer will be the latest pop star to release her own signature scent when the new product hits the store shelves this September.
Ariana Grande’s solo music career has gone from strength to strength since the release of last summer's huge hit 'Problems' (feat. Iggy Azalea), and 'Break Free' (feat. Zedd), and now the 22-year-old singer is setting her sights on the fragrance industry.
Grande will release her first fragrance in September
The former Nickelodeon star has recently signed a deal with Luxe Brand for the release of her first scent, which is expected to hit the store shelves this coming September, reports Women's Wear Daily. This will make Grande the latest high-profile celebrity to have her own signature perfume.
“I have always been obsessed with perfume. I always carried like six different scents in my bag, another three in my suitcase and another couple in my car,” said Grande in a statement on Friday (Feb 20th). “I’m asked so often about which fragrance I’m wearing, or if I have a signature scent,” he added. “I do have favourites, but I really want to create something that encompasses everything I love…which is why I am so excited to create my personal fragrance I can call my own.”
When the new product goes on sale in department stores this fall, Grande will join an exclusive group of pop stars who have joined the fragrance business over this past year, including Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and U.K. boy band One Direction.
“Ariana Grande is an incredibly special talent,” added Tony Bajaj, Luxe chief executive officer. “With this launch, Luxe brands adds to its growing and strategically diverse portfolio.”
