Armie Hammer plays the lead character in the Gore Verbinski re-boot of 'The Lone Ranger'. On the red carpet at the movie's world premiere, he talks about what it was like resurrecting such an established character who first appeared on TV in 50s portrayed by actor Clayton Moore.
'I would like to think that we brought this little character back to life', he says. 'It will forever be difficult to think of 'The Lone Ranger' and not immediately go to Clayton Moore in your head. He was the Lone Ranger, onscreen and offscreen.'
