The Goldie hitmaker hit headlines when he released his album At.Long.Last.A$AP (A.L.L.A.) this week (begs25May15) and listeners noticed the rapper taking aim at Ora on the track Better Things, in which he suggests they were once romantically involved.

Rocky has now explained the song, revealing he got close to Ora when he was in a relationship and got found out when she blabbed about it.

He tells BBC Radio 1's Annie MAC, "She got me into a lot of trouble when I was dealing with her... I just want to clarify, this isn't me saying: 'People don't go listen to Rita Ora, or she's an ugly person', or nothing. I'm not saying she's a terrible person, I'm just saying that when I was in a relationship and I did things with her that I wasn't supposed to do, she had a big mouth, that's what I'm saying.

"But honestly, the song is really old, that song had been around the time that situation I was referring to in the song happened, so we're talking about stuff that's really old and you know, I felt it was just such a good song I just didn't take it off but it would have been really tasteful for me to just mute that part. It is what it is, and it's out now."

Ora has not yet responded to the lyrics.
