The American, who famously fated Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea, recently turned his hand to acting with movie Dope, and now he has his sights set on replacing Daniel Craig as Bond.

He tells Esquire magazine , "I'd like to see me as the next Bond. We need a black James Bond. I'd get the job done and I’ll look better than any other Bond that has ever lived. All I need is a six-pack."

But he accepts his dark past as a drug seller might stall his unlikely bid to become the clean-cut superspy: "I sold drugs I’m not proud of when I was 15. As I got older, I was known for selling marijuana."

That said, a black Bond isn't too much of a reach - Idris Elba is among film fans' favourites to pick up the 007 franchise from Craig, whose fourth film as Bond, Spectre, is released later this year (15).
