Looking forward, while PS3 owners still have plenty of life left in their consoles – games are expected for the current generation (the PS4 is out on Nov 29) for a while yet, Naughty Dog have their minds firmly on the future. And with the Last of Us, they have a respected and well-loved franchise to build upon.
A New Uncharted Game Has Been Announced By Naughty Dog
Uncharted 4 was announced last night at the U.S launch of the PS4, sending fans of the adventure game into raptures. With three hugely popular games under its belt, Naughty Dog’s cache is only rising with every move they make. And while Uncharted 4 was an inevitability, the fact it’s not a launch title suggests the developer are ready to take their time on it.
“Amy [Hennig, series writer], Justin [Richmond, Uncharted 3 director], and the team are hard at work on an amazing new installment of the Uncharted series to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 system,” said community strategist Arne Meyer on the PlayStation Blog.

“Our goal is to continue what we’ve done in previous console generations and once again deliver the best in storytelling, performance capture, technical innovation and graphics on the PS4. We can confirm that the voiceover is performed by Todd Stashwick and he will play a character in the game.”
