Despite his character dying on the sitcom, the controversial actor still may make a return on the last ever episode, which airs in February.
As the final episode of 'Two and a Half Men' approaches, many are still wondering if the rumours about Charlie Sheen making a surprise appearance will come true, even though his character Charlie Harper died in the CBS sitcom, and now Ashton Kutcher may have hinted the controversial actor will return.
Kutcher replaced Sheen on the CBS show in season 9
While appearing on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Friday (Dec 12th), Kutcher, who joined the show's cast as Walden Schmidt for season 9, suggested Sheen could make an appearance in the last very episode in February, but he cautiously didn't give away a lot of information.

"I cannot give away any details, but I am scared," he told Ellen when talking about the finale. But when the host asked about Sheen's rumoured return, he replied, "If you're working on the Warner Bros. lot if they're sirens, come save me!"
Ellen then responded with, "So that means Charlie does come back?" But Kutcher said he couldn't reveal anything.

Sheen, who was famously fired from 'Two and a Half Men' back in 2011 by its creator Chuck Lorre, said in an October interview with Extra that he would like to reprise his character on the show.
"I would definitely do it, yeah, yeah. If they'll still have me, I will be there," he said about starring in the show's last season. "Yeah, I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans. I just think it makes sense."
Sheen may make a surprise return for the last episode of the show
After his firing, Sheen heavily criticised Lorre and executives at 'Warner Bros.' studios during a period of time when his bizarre behaviour and partying life style was becoming more and more frequent. This culminated with Sheen filing a $100 lawsuit against the sitcom's production team, but both parties settled their dispute outside of the courtroom.
Since leaving 'Two and a Half Men,' Charlie has starred in a comedy series called 'Anger Management' that airs on FX. On its premiere in June 2012 the show broke a ratings records with 5.74 million viewers tuning in for the first episode, and became the most watched sitcom premiere in cable history.
