Audrina Patridge, the star of reality show 'The Hills' and contestant on the current series of Dancing With The Stars says she was 'in shock' when her name was read out last week, confirming her elimination from the dance contest. The 25-year-old model and her professional dance partner TONY DOVOLANI found themselves in the bottom two alongside Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, and it was Patridge who had to leave.
Speaking on her blog for People Magazine, she said, "Even though Tony and I received high scores and were in second place, we still got voted off! It's just so baffling. I think a lot of people don't understand why it happened either". KYLE MASSEY and his partner Lacey Schwimmer were declared safe earlier in the evening, which meant either Patridge or Grey would get the chop. The Hills star said, "When the heartbeat music started playing in the ballroom, I felt like my heart was going to pop out of my chest! But when the announcer called our names, I didn't really know what to think. I honestly was in shock".
However, despite her elimination, Patridge said she hoped her fans will tune into her new reality show which begins on VH1 next year. Speaking about the series to US Magazine, she said, "It's a reality show about me and my family. Everything that people have wondered about me, they'll now get to see!"
