Rocker Badly Drawn Boy left fans baffled at his concert in Los Angeles on Thursday night (16Dec10) after launching into a foul-mouthed rant and storming off stage four songs into his set.
The British singer, real name Damon Gough, was performing at the Troubadour but his show was plagued by sound problems from the start and the star voiced his displeasure with the quality of the set-up.
In video footage of the incident posted online, he can be heard shouting, "This is a f**king disaster. I just want the world to swallow me up. I'm going to have a cigarette onstage and no one is going to question it."
He then hit out at the crowd, appearing to call concertgoers "c**ts" and declaring he was "ready to fight".
Gough briefly disappeared offstage before returning and apologising for his behaviour and performing a few more tracks, reports LAWeekly.com.
But he remained unhappy with the sound quality and later grumbled into the microphone, "I'm never playing live again."
