Fact: A man has been charged over allegations he defaced graffiti by street artist Banksy on a Los Angeles building wall. David William Noll, 35, who is also an artist, has been charged with felony vandalism for scrawling over the Brit's Girl in a Swing and Peeing Dog artworks.

Fact: Street graffiti by British artist Banksy fetched $575,000 (£359,000) at auction in Miami, Florida on Wednesday (19Feb14). The artwork - of two policemen kissing - was removed from the side of a bar in Brighton, England in 2011 and transferred onto canvas.
