Bar Refaeli wore Converse trainers to her wedding.

The 30-year-old model wore two different dresses when she and businessman Adi Ezra tied the knot in a traditional Jewish ceremony at the Carmel Forest Spa Resort near Haifa, Israel last month and ensured she made regular changes to her footwear in order to be ''comfortable'' and also ''sexy''.

She said: ''With the first dress, I wore flat shoes - I wanted to feel comfortable for the ceremony - but with the second I wore Gianvito Rossi high-heel sandals because I wanted to feel sexy during the dancing.

''When the party started to go crazy, I changed into my Converse.''

Though Bar had never thought about her dream wedding dress before, she fell in love instantly with the Chloe gown she donned for the ceremony.

She told HELLO! magazine: ''I never thought about my dream wedding or my wedding dress as a kid so I had no idea what I wanted.

''Around the time we got engaged, I saw an ad for Chloe. I absolutely fell in love with the dress and knew it was the one.

''My stylist Simon Elmalem contacts Chloe and they were very keen to work together on the dress. It took only two meetings in Paris for it to be perfect.

''The second dress was made by Inabel Dror, an Israeli designer. I wanted something simple and sexy comfortable not flashy. We chose a dress that looked almost like a nightgown.''
