Barbara Broccoli admits it will be ''tough'' to top 'Skyfall'.

The film producer - who is the driving force behind the Daniel Craig-fronted film series along with her half-brother Michael G. Wilson - has revealed that it will be ''difficult'' to match the success of the latest James Bond flick, which became the highest grossing film in British cinema history.

In an interview with The Times newspaper, she said: ''Yeah, it will be very difficult to compete with that film. It'll be tough, but we'll try.''

The critically acclaimed 'Skyfall' - which also stars Dame Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw - topped the box office in the UK and US upon its release last year and is the most successful Bond movie ever, grossing more than $1 billion worldwide.

The action flick also earned the franchise its first Oscar victories in nearly 50 years last month, winning Best Original Song and Best Sound Editing.

Barbara believes lead actor Daniel Craig deserves much of the credit for the film's success, describing him as ''great actor'' whose acting has given depth to the suave secret agent.

She explained: ''He has allowed the audience to get a glimpse of the inner life of Bond.

''Bond doesn't talk about his feelings very much so everything that Daniel does he does through his acting, which is very subtle - so subtle that I think people don't realise what a great actor he is. He conveys a lot of complex emotions without talking about them. He's been a huge part of the success.''
