Chris Hadfield, The Astronaut Who Became The First Man To Shoot A Music Video In Outer Space, Has Set His Sights On The Album Charts After Recording New Material With Barenaked Ladies And Ron Sexsmith.
Hadfield became an out-of-this-world sensation in 2013 when a video of himself performing a cover of David Bowie's Space Oddity went viral and now the retired Canadian spaceman is planning to release an entire album of songs he recorded while manning the International Space Station.
The retired astronaut says, "The serenity and grace I felt while orbiting our Earth, weightless by the window, gave a whole new place to write and perform music. I'm delighted to be able to share these completed works as a new way to help tell the stories of early space exploration."
