LATEST: A man involved in trying to sell stolen Beatles recordings was given a four-month suspended jail term in London yesterday (17JUL06). COLIN DILLON, 39, admitted handling stolen goods at Southwark Crown Court but was deemed to have had a "minor" role in a plot to sell tapes of unreleased material recorded by the Fab Four during 1969 sessions for their album LET IT BE album for GBP250,000 ($450,000). He was arrested alongside NIGEL OLIVER in a police raid in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 2003. Mentally ill Oliver, who was found unfit to enter a plea, was given a two-year supervision order on Friday (14JUL06) after being found guilty to handling stolen goods.
