Unseen footage of The Beatles in a chip shop is set to be released.

The Space is due to show behind the scenes footage of the 'Hey Jude' group - Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon and Ringo Starr - in a short film that takes the audience on a coach trip from the virtual Hotel to Newquay via a traditional British fish and chip shop.

The movie depicts behind the scenes footage of their 1967 film 'Magical Mystery Tour', and Anthony Wall, Editor of 'Arena', believes the recording ''perfectly'' portrays the Beatles as they were at the time.

He said: ''Few people have seen Magical Mystery Tour in its entirety and the material in the chip shop has never been shown anywhere.

''It captures perfectly the fabulous world of The Beatles at this time. They're happily rubbing shoulders and sharing a simple meal with the other passengers on the coach, and at the same time creating an extraordinarily avant garde film, which of course would soon be broadcast by the BBC to a dumbstruck nation.''
