The Boy With The Arab Strap musicians are set to perform at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, Scotland on 2 November (15) and all the profits from the concert will go to Save the Children's Child Refugee Crisis Appeal.

The Simple Minds stars will also perform at the show, along with fellow rockers Mogwai and comedian Josie Long.

"Belle And Sebastian, humbly, and with a good will, wish to stand behind the displaced peoples of Syria in their brave attempt to find a better life in Europe," the musicians tell Britain's Daily Record newspaper. "If governments won't help them, then the people must. Rock on."

Neil Mathers, Save the Children's Head of Scotland, adds, "The ticket price will go straight to our child refugee crisis appeal, so we can help some of the most desperate families in the world flee war and start a better life for their children."
