If you're wondering what exactly is going on between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, you're not the only one. It's been more than a year since the couple of 10 years decided to call time on their marriage, but so far we still haven't seen a single divorce document.

That doesn't necessarily mean they're getting back together. Divorce proceedings can take a long time to get through and both parties have a busy enough work schedule without having to worry about their home life too. However, sources have recently revealed that the silence regarding the impending divorce could be down to a reconciliation.

'Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed', a source told Us Weekly. 'It does not seem to be moving in that direction.'

The source went on to mention that the actress 'seems to still be in love with Ben' but wants to focus on their children - Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4 - while another insider revealed: 'If it was up to Ben they would be together. He feels like he can't live without Jen.'

Others have blasted suggestions that they are thinking of getting back together. Yet another source confessed that 'they were never in a rush to file' and that 'this was always the plan'. Plus, Perez Hilton were given the statement: 'It's just been status quo. Nothing's changed.'

Jennifer Garner was candid about the ending of her marriage in an interview with Vanity Fair in March 2016. She confessed that she and Affleck were still living in the same house, though she had been bunking in her daughter's bedroom. You'd think that if the couple were really serious about going their separate ways, Affleck would have bought a new place with the millions he raised from 'Batman v Superman'.

'You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had. He's the love of my life. What am I going to do about that?' She told the magazine. 'He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow.'
