Robinson Crusoe always thought he'd enjoy his life if he were an explorer, taking to the sea and discovering new lands. Robinson is dispatched to a large ship and his adventure is about to start - little does Robinson know that his life is set for a far wilder adventure than first expected. 

As Robinson's ship hits bad weather, he finds himself as the sole human survivor of a terrible accident. Now Robinson and the captain's dog are the only ones to make it to land. Marooned on a beautiful island, Robinson doesn't know it yet but he's being watched by the local inhabitants, Tuesday the parrot and a number of other animals who are perplexed by this strange creature who can willingly shed his skin (his clothes). 

Setting up home, Tuesday and the rest of the animals are on hand to help build a new home but before they can get settled together, their way of life is threatened by two pesky cats who have decided that they should be in control of the island and its goings on. Robinson and his new winged and furry friends must find a way to protect themselves from the felines who are out to cause mayhem!

When Thunder is abandoned into the street by his owner as a kitten during a house move, he finds himself in the home of an eccentric aged magician named Lawrence and his family of friendly mechanical toys on a stormy night which gives him his name. Lawrence takes him on tour performing at parties but it soon becomes clear that he's much more popular than the magician's old pet rabbit, Jack - a fact that doesn't sit well with either Jack or the magician's mouse Maggie. However, the furry team must unite for the sake of Lawrence when trouble arises in the form of his nefarious nephew, who is attempting to sell the large house while Lawrence is away at hospital. Thunder and his new friends decide to try and convince him that the house is actually haunted, with Thunder at the forefront of the ploy. The question is, do Lawrence's unusual family have it in them to save his livelihood?
