Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter spent their honeymoon relaxing and resting.
The couple - who tied the knot last month - jetted off to Tahiti in the French Polynesia to enjoy their first holiday as a married couple.
An eyewitness shared: ''They were completely relaxed and didn't do much of anything other than read and swim in the water.
''Benedict did a little bit of snorkelling and really enjoyed the fact that he could just put on his flippers and his mask and jump off the deck into the turquoise water. He also spent a good deal of time reading scripts and taking pictures of everything with his professional camera, especially Sophie.''
The 'Imitation Game' star ensured his new wife got a bit of rest and relaxation and he was regularly spotted showering her in adoration.
The insider continued: ''Sophie spent most of her time taking naps and resting.
''Benedict always made sure she was taken care of. He was always rubbing sunscreen on her back and kissing her neck.''
The couple also enjoyed breakfast on the terrace outside their little villa and cooled down with dips in the sea whenever the heat got to much.
The source told Us Weekly magazine: ''They had breakfast every morning together on their patio. They were very leisurely with their time and just sipped their drinks and watched the water.
''Whenever they got hot, they went into the ocean and swam, but most of the time they just stayed at their bungalow.''
Benedict and Sophie - who met on the set of 'Burlesque Fairytales' in 2009 - are expecting their first child together.
