Benedict Cumberbatch's publicist has confirmed he's a married man after exchanging vows with his pregnant fiancee on Valentine's Day (14Feb15).

The Sherlock star and Sophie Hunter wed at the medieval St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Mottistone on the Isle of Wight, off the coast of England, surrounded by family members and famous friends including Tom Hiddleston and Martin Freeman.

The actor's spokeswoman tells the Bbc, "It was a magical day."

The Imitation Game star, 38, and theatre director Hunter announced their engagement in November (14), five years after they met on the set of thriller Burlesque Fairytales in 2009. In early January (15), they revealed they are expecting their first child.

Cumberbatch won't have too long to celebrate his weekend nuptials - he's expected at the Academy Awards on 22 February (15), when he will compete for a Best Actor Oscar.
