The 2 Broke Girls star will offer up advice to readers to help them "regain control of their physical and emotional health while reaching for and achieving their most ambitious dreams".

The book, which will also serve as a memoir-of-sorts, will be published by Weinstein Books, the offshoot company founded by movie moguls Bob and Harvey Weinstein.

"My journey to well-being has been a long one, and I'm eager to share what I've learned so that my readers won't have to make the same mistakes I did," says the self-confessed former junk food fan.

The TV star, 29, will also share some of her favourite healthy recipes and her comical take on exercise for "fun and manageable ways to center your life", according to Deadline.com.

A release date for the as-yet-untitled project has yet to be announced.
